About the Position This is a time‑limited position (NS‑14). Second‑level Specialized Training and Development professional responsible for developing and delivering training programs, administering certification requirements, administering assessments, providing technical assistance, and ensuring knowledge transfer. Employees execute short- to medium-term objectives and outcomes under general guidance and advice of a more experienced colleague or supervisor. The role is part of the Mississippi Department of Human Services Division of Early Childhood Care and Development Quality Support System (QSS) team. The associate will build positive professional relationships with early childhood providers, staff, families, partners, and community stakeholders. Responsibilities include helping early childhood providers and staff understand how they can improve in respective areas to support and foster child development, as well as evaluating Early Childhood Education (ECE) program curriculum and operations. Day travel and some overnight travel required.
