BG Staffing is seeking an Affordable Assistant Property Manager to oversee daily operations at a property in Richmond, VA 23220 . This is a contract opportunity with immediate start for the right candidate.
Position Details
- Role: Affordable Assistant Property Manager
- Location: Richmond, VA 23220
- Pay: $22/hr.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Opportunity Type: Contract
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations of an affordable housing property
- Support compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and other affordable housing regulations
- Help manage leasing activities, including applications, move‑ins, and recertifications
- Maintain accurate and organized resident files and documentation
- Assist with rent collections and follow‑ups on delinquencies
- Respond to resident inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders
- Support property manager with reporting and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Previous property management or leasing experience required
- Affordable housing experience (HUD/Section 8/LIHTC) preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience with property management software is a plus
