Medical Assistant – OBGYNShift: 8-hour shift between 06:00–18:00 - Weekends: Not requiredRequirements:2 years in an outpatient clinic setting1 year specifically in OBGYNVenipuncture experienceHigh School / GEDMA diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program requiredRequired certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only)Required credential: MA certificate from DAPIP-accredited programEPIC charting experienceRoles & Responsibilities:Room patients and take vital signsCollect patient histories and perform specimen collectionConduct blood draws and assist with quality assurance supportFacilitate patient, physician, and staff communication and escalate issues as necessaryAssist with special procedures such as PAP smears, colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertion/removal, Nexplanon, and NST monitoringCompliance / Notes:MA certification must be from a DAPIP-accredited programTwo references from within the past year required at submissionBackground/license checks may require written statements for any open hitsMaximum 7 days of requested time off (no RTO within first two weeks)Pre-start compliance modules required, completed before startClient Details:City: Los AngelesState: CA
