Care Assistant £13.39 per hour At Blaenos House, we're seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Care Assistant to join our established team. Blaenos House Nursing Home The Home Within walking distance of the pretty historic market town of Llandovery, and on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Blaenos House cares for 38 residents living with dementia and/or requiring nursing care. The Role We are seeking a kind and compassionate Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support residents with daily living activities, promoting independence, dignity, and comfort. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Deliver personal care and support to residents in line with individual care plans. Assist with meals and fluids, ensuring dietary needs are met. Support residents with mobility and transfers as per their care plan. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care records. Provide companionship, support, and engagement to promote wellbeing. Ensure residents’ privacy, dignity, and respect are upheld at all times. Our Ideal Candidate Must Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Have a positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
