Wires and assembles electrical/mechanical products according to written instructions, drawings, or diagrams.
Primary Responsibilities :- Assembles electrical/mechanical products or sub-assemblies according to written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
- Wires electrical and automation products, panels, cabinets and sub-assemblies according to written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
- Operates hand tools, power tools and production equipment.
- Maintains the highest level of quality on all production output.
- Assists in monitoring inventory.
- Assists with quarterly and annual physical inventory counts.
- Responsible for working safely at all times and maintaining a safe work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in manufacturing environment.
- 2-3 years' experience in wiring preferred.
- Technical competence.
- Basic ability to read design specifications, technical drawings and bill of materials.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
- Must be able to read design specifications, drawings, and /or wiring diagrams.
- Must be able to wire simple electrical/mechanical products according to specifications.
- Must be able to work over 40 hours a week as necessary.
