Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Richlands, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 07:00-19:00 (Days)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver quality patient care, contribute to better patient outcomes, and support the overall well-being of all patients within our integrated network.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care with a focus on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and assist with treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patients' conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license to practice in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum one year of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Required certifications: RDMS, BLS.
