Job Requirements

Qualifications

• 12 months experience driving a Box Truck within the last 3 years
• Valid Driver's License, with a current DOT medical card -(minimum 1 year medical card issued required)
  • Class A CDL or Class B License is optional
• 21 years of age or older
• Pass a road test
• Acceptable driving record per policy
• Acceptable responses to previous Employment Verifications
• Pass a background check, and pre-employment tests
• Safe driving record and continuous dedication to upholding high safety standards

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle (Box Truck)
• Safely Operate a Lift Gate
• Load and Unload freight at Distribution Centers and at assigned route locations
• Maintain all DOT requireddocumentation
• Adhere to DOT Rules and Regulations
• Able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs. for touch freight positions
• Value your safety, always comply with safety/operating policies and procedures
• Work well independently, with customers, and in a team setting
• Value a positive and respectful work environment
• Understand that delivering to our customers on-time keeps our company viable
• Complete deliveries on schedule and interface with customers effectively
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
• Work cooperatively and productively with supervisors and other associates to complete tasks
• Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
• Perform and document pre and post trip inspections and complete all necessary paperwork
• All other duties as assigned

• Deliver excellent customer service

• Safely get in and out of the cab on your own
• Execute on-time pickup and deliveries
• Adhere to safety and quality standards on and off the road
• Interact in a positive and a professional manner with general public while delivering products to locations
