Job Description

As a Security Officer Clinical Care Area Patrol in Westwood NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner communicating with appropriate hospital personnel and/or first responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities parking areas entrances and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence.
• Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents hazards and/or unusual activity to site leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Must be fully Vaccinated with Flu vaccine and Covid Vaccine.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
