Audit Manager

The Audit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL, responsible for leading and managing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning audit procedures, supervising audit teams, reviewing workpapers, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards. The Audit Manager will coordinate with clients to understand business processes, identify risk areas, and recommend improvements to internal controls and financial reporting. The role involves mentoring and developing staff, managing engagement timelines and budgets, and preparing clear, well-supported audit reports and communications. Collaboration with partners and other team members to support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships is also a key part of this position.
Qualifications

• MUST have 4-6 recent years of Public Accounting experience in the Audit field.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant standards and regulations.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Audits, including planning, execution, review, and reporting.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess risks, evaluate internal controls, and identify trends or anomalies in financial data.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Several years of progressive public accounting audit experience, including prior supervisory or manager-level responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with audit and accounting software, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, provide constructive feedback, and support staff development.
• Knowledge of CCH ProSystems Engagement audit software is a plus.
