What You’ll Do We are seeking an Outside Parts Salesperson to join our team that would be responsible for cultivating and expanding business within their assigned territory. This role involves more than 50% of time spent outside the office, engaging in proactive sales efforts. Some key responsibilities of this role include developing and leveraging customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Outside Parts Salesperson will possess a comprehensive understanding of our products and pricing, actively pursue leads, and exceed sales targets. Additionally, they will coordinate with internal teams to facilitate seamless order processing and maintain up-to-date market intelligence. Regular collaboration with the sales supervisor and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders are crucial aspects of this role. The ideal candidate for this role will uphold exceptional customer service standards, promptly addressing any concerns or complaints to uphold our reputation as a leader in the industry and continue to meet our company promise to provide value to our customers with speed while maintaining trust. Job Duties Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of VVG products and pricing Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business Visit assigned customers Prospect new customers Communicate parts orders to inside parts salespeople Meet or exceed new business sales goals Complete prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointments with decision makers Schedule and document activities Prepare and draft sales documentation and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner Develop and maintain an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly Regularly meet with sales supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals and status of prospective customers Advise parts people of any special needs Follow up on parts order to ensure parts department is meeting or exceeding their needs Act as public relations liaison for VVG Customer Service Responsibilities Resolve customer complaints and provide conflict resolution to customers Visit customers to provide and maintain excellent customer relations Required Skills and Qualifications 1-2 years or more of sales experience Ability to maintain professional appearance Must exhibit leadership qualities Must exhibit teamwork qualities Show initiative Must have a valid driving license Physical Requirements Must be able to pass post offer drug test Must have a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record Compensation Lucrative Commission-Based Opportunity : Maximize Your Earning Potential!
