What You’ll Do: Clean and maintain resident apartments, public areas, and community spaces to the highest standard Ensure all areas are consistently fresh, clean, and welcoming for residents, families, and visitors Follow infection control and sanitation protocols throughout every shift Operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently Restock supplies and report maintenance concerns as needed Be a warm, respectful presence to residents and families throughout your shift What You Bring: Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel or ALF setting — required Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness Dependable, self‑motivated, and takes pride in a job done right Comfortable working PM hours consistently Warm, professional demeanor around residents and families Why Allegro Fort Lauderdale? Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304 Full-Time | PM Shift | 1 Year Hotel or ALF Experience Required The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to clean vacant apartments in preparation for move‑in as well as to clean occupied apartments on a weekly basis or as scheduled, follow the cleaning schedule outlined for the cleaning of the common areas of the Community, and assure that the highest degree of cleanliness is always maintained. Areas of Responsibility Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move‑in using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply. Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized. Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly. Other duties as assigned – see full job description. Required Qualifications Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
