Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical lab tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, help onboard new staff or students, and assist in maintaining high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science is required, or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain valid certification throughout duration of employment.
