Job Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methodologies.
• Craft customized treatment plans that target both immediate and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Implement individualized speech therapy sessions, focusing on communication, language development, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, doctors, caregivers, and families to build streamlined care approaches.
• Provide educational resources to patients and families, empowering them to support therapy progress at home.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatments, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout patients' rehabilitation journeys.
• Document actions and findings accurately and promptly in alignment with state regulations, federal laws, and organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through educational opportunities and collaborative learning with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you haven't achieved ASHA certification yet.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within your first month of employment.
