Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following:

• Serve as a Safety and Occupational Health Specialist.
• Responsible for conducting safety and occupational health functions related to new construction and building renovation projects.
• Serve as an adviser to senior agency managers and recommends new programs or substantive program changes.
• Incumbent develops new inspection procedures to ensure that construction processes and equipment operations are consistent with applicable safety criteria.
