Mental Health Counselor

We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing crisis intervention as needed, and following up with patients to ensure they are receiving appropriate ongoing care. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients as well as a current LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) license. Responsibilities: • Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients • Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care • Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing as well as collaboration with other staff members to determine a patient’s mental health status • Provide crisis intervention as needed • Refer patients and family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary Here's how it works: TIER 1 — Independent | $1,600/month For established clinicians who are comfortable managing their own practice and primarily need professional space. You focus entirely on the clients. We support the rest. Best for: Clinicians transitioning from agency or group practice who are ready to go independent but don't want to figure it all out alone. Qualifications: • CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field; preference to those with a master’s degree • State licensure that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or equivalent Who this is for: • Clinicians with a full or growing caseload • Therapists feeling capped in group practice or agency • Those ready to build something of their own • Clinicians who want independence without isolation Compensation: $65,000 - $120,000 yearly
