Respiratory Therapist II (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Marietta, Georgia, United States. This travel temporary assignment starts on 07/13/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Deliver bedside respiratory care in critical care areas, following protocols for ventilator management and the evaluate-and-treat process.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor patient responses; adjust therapy per established protocols and physician orders.
- Provide education to patients and families, coordinate activities with care teams, and participate in ongoing staff development and onboarding activities.
- Exercise independent clinical judgment in complex, multi-problem patient situations; assume self-directed responsibility for quality of care.
- Support population-specific needs, addressing biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational aspects as part of holistic patient care.
- Participate in the orientation and education of new staff and other learners to promote safe and effective practice.
