Siemens Healthineers is currently seeking candidates for a Travel Radiation Therapist positions that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Springfield, OR This is a travel healthcare contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!


Job Details:

• Location: Springfield, OR
• Modality: Radiation Therapy
• Equipment: TrueBeam and Aria 16.01
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (4x10) rotating (40 hours)
• Pay: $3,484 weekly gross (eligible for benefits)

Requirements:

• Active ARRT certification + Oregon state radiation license
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience within modality

About the Role:
As a Travel Radiation Therapist , you will play a vital role in oncology treatment, delivering precise radiation therapy to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Working alongside experienced oncologists and medical teams, you'll ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate care in a variety of clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Operate and calibrate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment.
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization for effective treatment delivery.
• Monitor patients during procedures, assessing for any adverse reactions or complications.
• Maintain detailed treatment records and ensure compliance with safety and radiation protection protocols.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Radiation Therapist.
• Certifications:
  • ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T).
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Skills: Strong technical proficiency with radiation therapy equipment, patient-focused care, and attention to detail.
