Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with general chronic medical conditions in a mixed-acuity progressive care / stepdown environment
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate or progressive care, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic
• Administer and reconcile medications utilizing automated dispensing systems
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team using SBAR methodology
• Float within the organization as needed to support staffing and patient care needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
• Valid Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Ability to float within the organization and participate in on-call as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a progressive care, stepdown, or PCU setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis, Accudose, or Omnicell)
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
