Responsibilities Lead and supervise crews installing firestop material at through and membrane firestop penetrations. Oversee installation of firestop systems at drywall, masonry, and curtain wall joint applications. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with approved design documents and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, life safety drawings, and specifications. Operate and ensure safe use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stages, scaffolds, and ladders. Perform physical duties including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting as needed to complete installations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous firestop experience strongly preferred. Proven leadership and supervisory skills on construction projects. Dependable transportation with ability to travel for day and overnight trips as needed. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Fall Protection, Forklift, Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift certifications preferred. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally more as required.
