RN PRACTICE COORDINATOR

About the Position Sentara Cardiology Specialists are hiring a full‑time Registered Nurse Practice Coordinator in Williamsburg, VA. Key Responsibilities Functions as a clinical leader under the direction of the Practice Manager for patient care services. Schedules and assigns clinic staff to meet patient care and clinic needs. Performs patient care, develops and implements clinical practice guidelines and protocols. Provides support with patient decision‑making, education, and coordination of services to assure quality outcomes. Coordinates and collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and medical assistants. Delegates and supervises tasks (procedures, treatments) to LPNs and MAs. Qualifications Bachelor’s level degree in nursing. Active RN license in VA or Compact. Specialty certification in professional nursing practice preferred. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience. At least 1 year of supervisory experience. Ambulatory care experience preferred.
