Physical Therapist

Position: Physical Therapist Salary Range: $41,000-$50,000 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation Facility: 110 beds; Mental Health Unit, Dementia Unit We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our facility with 110 beds, including a Mental Health Unit and Dementia Unit. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping our patients achieve optimal physical function and mobility. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals
• Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve their physical function and prevent future injuries
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
• Stay up-to-date on current research and techniques in the physical therapy field
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient treatments and progress
• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as facility policies and procedures

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
