We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality, compassionate care to patients in a large medical center in Memphis. Responsibilities Perform patient assessments accurately and timely. Develop and prioritize a holistic care plan based on comprehensive assessment, desired outcomes, and current knowledge. Safely implement the care plan for patients, directly or by delegation. Continuously evaluate the patient care plan. Effectively communicate in writing and orally with patients/families and other health team members. Demonstrate and promote professional practice among all members of the nursing care team. Education / Formal Training Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Work Experience Required: Registered Nurse, 0–1 year(s) of experience. Preferred: Clinical nursing experience, 1–3 years. Licenses and Certifications Required: Registered Nurse license issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. Required: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association). Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty. Skills and Abilities Proficiency in applying highly technical nursing principles and concepts. Analytical skills to assess complex patient conditions and develop comprehensive care plans. Ability to synthesize multiple sources of information to resolve complex problems. Supervision The Registered Nurse directs and delegates all patient care activities on nursing units. Physical Demands Frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact; exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials. Ability to react quickly to emergencies; handle and administer narcotics as needed. Read, write and communicate orally and in writing with others. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs., push and pull up to 250 lbs. Stand, walk, climb stairs, sit, squat, kneel, reach, bend, crawl, twist, and perform repetitive hand/foot motions.
