Wanco Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Engineering Coordinator with high energy, intelligence and drive, to support the supplied material value stream.

The coordinator is responsible for performing and coordinating actions and timelines for engineering changes, item master and BOM maintenance. Key areas of accountability include engineering change requests, Sales order configuration, process and product implementation, as well as build out analysis

• One or more years working within an ERP system
• Analytical and mathematical capabilities to compile build out plans and calculate target dates
• Willingness to make quick and thoughtful decisions on behalf of the business
• Effective relationship building skills
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Strong organizational skills are a must

• Detailed and demonstrated knowledge with project management software
• An understanding of material debits and credits through the value stream

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support Engineering Change Process
• • Develop and calculate material burn downs and target dates for changes
  • Coordinate data and production acknowledgment/approval of change
  • Coordinate translation of engineering documentation into the ERP system (Part records, process routings, Bill of Materials, and Configuration of build)
  • Coordinate production implementation
  • • Pilot Builds
    • Rework and inventory transfers
    • PO and Job Updates
  • Ensure all related paperwork and materials are current as well as properly filed/stored
  • Maintain and update process workflow(s).
  • Coordinate and direct Change Board meetings
  • Coordinate and maintain revision control of engineering documentation
• Plan, manage and coordinate resources to release engineering data to 3rd party service portal (Smart Equip)
• Plan, manage and coordinate resources to release engineering data to ERP system for new order configuration. Ensuring the data is complete in a timely fashion and delivered to appropriate parties.
• Data management champion
• • Maintenance workflows, data cards, and SolidWorks system files
  • Coordinate updates to macro driven templates
• Develop, document, graph, maintain and report numerous metrics of production engineering activities.
• Review production builds with floor personnel and coordinate resources to update documentation when required
• Support operation’s system ticket overflow
• Support lean initiatives as assigned
• Support safety initiatives as assigned
• Coach/Train personnel on processes and best practices as needed
• Communicate with internal clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives

Physical Requirements:

Mobility to work in an office and factory setting including use of standard office equipment, such as, but not limited to a computer.

Comfortable working directly in a manufacturing facility and adhering to PPE requirements.

Some travel may be required.

Reporting: This position reports to the Production Engineer Manager without direct reports.

Salary Range: $23-$36 per hour.
