Job Summary
A Sterile Processing Technician position is available in Park Ridge, Illinois. This role involves supporting the sterile processing department through tray assembly, sterilization, wrapping, decontamination, and instrument inspections. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Park Ridge, Illinois
• Specialty: Sterile Processing Technician
• Schedule: Night shifts, 8 hours per shift, with weekend rotation and up to one week approval for time off
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)); Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Location: Illinois; Experience: 3 years of sterile processing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Sensitrac instrument tracking system; EPIC electronic medical record system experience (manager approval required for no EPIC experience)
• Additional Information: Support within the department may include roles such as CNA, Receptionist/Human Resources Coordinator, Charge Nurse, Phlebotomist, IV/VAT Team member, Resource Nurse, and 24/7 coverage by RTs, Hospitalists, and Intensivists.
• Orientation: One shift in the department at NEO.
