About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State licensure required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Circulating experience Sedation experience Atherectomy experience IVUS experience Thrombectomy experience preferred RCIS preferred Scrubbing and monitoring experience welcomed Description: This facility is the area's only Atrial Fibrillation Certified hospital. It is also the first Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. The facility features a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. Additionally, it is recognized as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. The campus includes an acute care hospital with all private rooms, a mental health facility, and a comprehensive physical rehabilitation hospital. The major services offered include cardiology, oncology, neurology, orthopedics, emergency care, behavioral health, and rehabilitative medicine. Unit Specifics: The Cath Lab has 4 rooms and a holding area. The patient ratio is 1:1. Staffing includes CV analysts and RNs. The facility employs GE imaging equipment. Documentation is managed through a specific EMR system. Scheduling requirements consist of 4-10 hour shifts, with call shifts required. One weekend shift is expected per month. Floating policy is not required. Patient experience requirements are determined by the facility. Procedures performed include LHC, RHC, Coronary Intervention, PPM insertion, EP studies with ablation, Watchman, TAVR, and PFO closure.
