About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Dutch subsidiary, with a focus on establishing and commercializing engineering services both within and outside the nuclear sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the subsidiary, including day-to-day operations, financial performance, and ensuring compliance with group policies and local regulations. This role requires a professional with a strong background in technical consulting and engineering, particularly within the nuclear sector, and a proven track record in leadership. The Managing Director will be tasked with defining and implementing the business strategy, overseeing business development and sales activities, and managing a local team to meet strategic targets. Additionally, the role involves representing the organization in the local community and at industry events to enhance its reputation and success. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company's Dutch subsidiary should hold a Master's degree in engineering and/or business, have a minimum of 15 years' of professional experience, with at least 5 years' in a role with P&L or comparable responsibility, and a technical background in nuclear and/or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a native proficiency in Dutch, an excellent command of English, and knowledge of French is a plus. Key skills and attributes include a strong network within the industry, experience in large industrial project management, and the ability to lead and develop a cross-functional team. The role demands a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and communication skills, a business-minded and target-driven approach, and a passion for achieving success.
