Press Operator – Temp-to-Hire

Target Hire: Immediate

Pay Rate: $15-17/hr (Day Shift = 15/hr, Night Shift = 17/hr)

Eligibility: U.S. citizens or residents / EAD only

Location: Newton, IA

Schedule

· 2-2-3 rotating schedule

· 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

· 12-hour shifts

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is a little different, but responsibilities may include:

· Assisting with the operation of large production printing equipment.

· Preparing materials and products for production and shipment.

· Supporting press operators to help keep production running efficiently.

· Monitoring product quality and ensuring finished materials meet company standards.

· Stacking, packaging, and organizing finished products.

· Keeping work areas clean, organized, and operating safely.

· Working as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· Detail-oriented and committed to producing quality work.

· Able to remain active throughout a 12-hour shift, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive movement.

· Looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow. The role involves frequent movement and material handling throughout the shift.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on production role. Candidates should be able to:

· Stand and walk for the majority of a 12-hour shift.

· Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 45 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.

· Push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the workday.

· Perform repetitive hand and arm movements while handling products and materials.

· Work safely around large production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· Maintain attention to detail while meeting quality and production standards.

· Previous shipping & receiving experience is a plus, and experience operating specialized material handling equipment is highly valued.

Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but  not required . We're happy to train motivated individuals who are ready to work.
