Office Assistant (Shipping, Receiving & Administrative Support)Job Summary:The Office Assistant coordinates shipping and receiving, supports accounting and finance tasks, and helps with daily office operations. This flexible part-time role is well suited for students and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Salary: $20 per hour, about 15 hours per weekCasual work attireKey Responsibilities:Shipping & Receiving Coordination: Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare shipping documents, labels, and tracking details. Work with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery. Check incoming goods for accuracy and report any discrepancies. Provide product dimensions and related information as needed. Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.Accounting & Finance Support: Help prepare and submit monthly financial reports through the company's OA (Office Automation) system. Support accounts payable and receivable as needed. Keep financial records and documentation organized. Assist with data entry, reconciliations, and report generation.Administrative & Office Support: Provide general administrative support for daily office operations. Run business-related errands, including purchasing samples or office supplies as needed. Assist with filing, document management, and correspondence. Support OptimoX tasks, including learning the internal system, preparing Excel reports, entering and fulfilling orders, and maintaining product data, files, and related records. Support other office tasks and special projects as assigned.Qualifications: High school diploma or current enrollment in a university program; associate's degree is a plus. Students are encouraged to apply. Experience in administrative, logistics, or accounting support is a plus. Being comfortable with numbers is helpful. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, is preferred. Mandarin fluency is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Working Conditions: Flexible part-time role with hours determined by the company. Office-based position with occasional off-site errands. May occasionally require lifting packages or materials up to 20 lbs.
