Qualifications At least a bachelor’s degree and five years of elementary teaching experience; master’s degree preferred. Experience with the developmental needs of 5–8‑year‑old children. Ability to differentiate lessons for different levels and types of learners. Experience designing curriculum for elementary grades. Experience collaborating with a team of teachers. Demonstrated leadership in curriculum development. Academic or professional experience in gifted education. Creative problem‑solving and inquiry‑based educational expertise. Responsibilities Member of the Lower School faculty and report to the Lower School head. Design and implement curriculum for early childhood (5–8‑year‑old). Collaborate with other homeroom teachers and content‑area specialists. Attend and participate in faculty, department, and grade‑level meetings. Participate in Winterim and supervise students on off‑campus school activities. Perform additional duties as needed. This position is full‑time. Salary and Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long‑term disability, excellent retirement plan, and section 125 plan.
