10X Workforce
Job Description
Job Description
Are you the go-to pro for tough bends and tight timelines?
If you thrive on complex layouts, can read one-lines without a second glance, and deliver code-perfect work in commercial and light industrial settings, this role is built for you.
Prove it by answering “yes” to these:- Can you produce clean, accurate bends (saddles, offsets, concentric, back-to-back) in EMT, IMC, and Rigid using hand, mechanical, and electric benders?
- Do electrical schematics, architectural blueprints, and one-line diagrams guide your field decisions with confidence?
- Have you installed and terminated panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting, and control systems end-to-end?
- Can you pull wire and feed cable through conduit runs, trays, and structures efficiently and safely?
- Do you troubleshoot and repair commercial circuits and equipment with minimal supervision?
- Is strict adherence to NEC, OSHA, and local specifications second nature to you?
- Are you comfortable mentoring apprentices and coordinating with foremen, project managers, and other MEP trades?
- Full-scope commercial installations and maintenance across offices, retail, medical buildings, warehouses, and similar sites.
- Layout and conduit routing that keeps projects on time and up to code.
- Independent execution or small-crew leadership to meet milestones.
- 6+ years of true commercial electrical field experience.
- Documented mastery in conduit bending/installation and strong blueprint/one-line literacy.
- Complete set of standard hand tools; valid driver’s license; reliable transportation.
- Ability to climb ladders, operate scissor lifts, work in tight spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Professional presence: dependable, punctual, safety-first, and communicative with PMs and clients.
- Contract-to-perm role based from Emerson, NJ (home office).
- Project coverage within a 60-mile radius.
- Work hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
