Sr. Manager, Software Development - Chicago

Salary: $163,759 - 163,759 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 10+ years of progressive software development experience.
• We are looking for strong expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and microservices.
• We need hands-on experience with AWS Glue Catalog, S3, Lake Formation, data pipelines, BigQuery, Redshift, EMR, Dataproc, EKS, GKE, Apache Hive, and Hudi.
• We expect familiarity with Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, Cloudability, AWS Parallel Cluster, and AWS and GCP foundation services.
• We value experience with public cloud platforms and DevSecOps operating models.
• We require solid product development knowledge and a strong understanding of enterprise technologies, APIs, and microservices.
• Some telecommuting is permitted.

• We build and lead a strong team to support the development of our solutions enablement platform organization.
• We deliver a strategic project vision and drive modernization of project delivery.
• We partner with stakeholders across Vertical Markets, Global Solutions, Global Data and Analytics, Global Technology, and Global Operations to create innovative customer-facing solutions.
• We work closely with product management to shape customer-focused strategies and roadmaps.
• We play a key role in the project engineering organization and help advance delivery through public cloud platforms, DevSecOps models, and enabling technologies.
• We enable market and solution teams by discussing capability needs and aligning them to architectural patterns and standards.
• We lead teams of technology leaders, managers, and advanced engineers to build critical platform capabilities and support essential business applications.
