Job#: 3033931 Job Description: Data Governance Analyst Hybrid - Richmond, VA Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Governance Analyst to support the execution and operationalization of enterprise data governance and data quality initiatives. This role is highly execution-focused, requiring hands-on involvement in governance processes, data quality controls, and risk assessment activities. The ideal candidate brings both technical understanding and governance expertise, and is comfortable working "in the weeds" to ensure data policies and standards are effectively implemented and maintained. Key Responsibilities * Execute data governance and data quality initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies and standards * Perform data risk assessments and support governance-related risk mitigation activities * Implement and maintain data governance controls, workflows, and processes * Develop, enforce, and monitor data quality rules and controls * Conduct data quality monitoring, identify issues, and drive remediation efforts * Support policy execution and adherence, ensuring compliance across data domains * Create and maintain governance documentation, including procedures, standards, and controls * Generate governance and data quality reporting for stakeholders and leadership * Partner with cross-functional teams to support operationalization of governance frameworks * Differentiate and apply data governance vs. business rules appropriately within processes Technical Environment * Informatica (data governance / data quality tooling - key requirement) * Snowflake (data platform exposure preferred) * Data quality and governance tools/frameworks * Data profiling and monitoring solutions Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, controls, and processes * Experience with data quality rule implementation and monitoring * Hands-on experience supporting governance execution and operations * Ability to perform data risk analysis and assessment * Familiarity with data governance tools (Informatica preferred) * Understanding of data structures and technical environments, without being a data engineer * Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and business stakeholders * Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute and document processes effectively Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
