Project Analyst, SETA 2

Support technology, research and development, and programmatic tasks Provide technical and program support to program directors managing an R&D portfolio of awardees Assist with awardee management, milestone capture, and development of program briefings and technical reports for NSF leadership and interagency partners Coordinate and participate in technical and programmatic discussions with government, industry, and other stakeholders to initiate partnerships and program concepts Coordinate and support technical meetings and conferences Provide systems engineering and programmatic expertise for process and system improvement across TIP programs Conduct data analysis with the data analytics team to inform programmatic decisions and improve communication Ensure a positive user experience for various programs Serve as a team lead as needed, managing task implementation and team members Requirements BS/BA degree or equivalent education and/or experience Minimum of 10 years of research and development expertise, managing research projects, and project management experience Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance suitability High proficiency using Microsoft Office tools Proficiency with project management tools, system development and mapping tools, and data analytic tools and processes Strong technical experience in Quantum, Advanced Material Science, AI, or data sciences Knowledge of transition to practice processes, including commercialization strategies Experience working in the innovation ecosystem, including high-growth technology enterprises and with a federal government funding research agency in a SETA role Technical skills and experience in managing research projects, data analysis and visualization, survey implementation, project strategy and management Proficiency in industry-standard project management tools, technical note capture and reporting, scheduling meetings, and coordinating deliverable feedback Experience supporting and interacting with Senior Leadership Excellent communication skills Strong multitasking abilities and familiarity with a fast-paced environment Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive expertise in Research and Development project management, data analysis, and systems engineering, with a strong focus on improving processes and user experience across programs.
