Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Piscataway, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a luxury retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $20.96 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:15 PM - 10:45 PMFri02:15 PM - 10:45 PMSat02:15 PM - 10:45 PMSun02:15 PM - 10:45 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a high-end retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help protect merchandise and property. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity while maintaining a professional presence consistent with a luxury retail environment. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements Loss prevention experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge system experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
