Job Title

Registered Nurse – Newborn Nursery / Level II NICU (7P–7A)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to newborns ranging from 36–41 weeks gestational age in a Newborn Nursery and Level II NICU setting
• Monitor and assess patient condition, documenting care accurately using GE Centricity EHR

• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, delivering safe and effective care in a 12-bed Level I and 2-bed Level II unit
• Float as needed to assist Postpartum or Labor and Delivery units in a supportive capacity without taking a primary assignment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal outcomes for neonatal patients

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Newborn Nursery experience
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Demonstrated experience with newborn nursing care and assessments
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced neonatal environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS and STABLE certifications preferred
• Experience with Meditech electronic health record systems
• Familiarity with Level II NICU care and protocols
