About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - NIHSS - Stroke experience - ACLS - Cardiac drips - Telemetry experience Description: 48 hours guaranteed preferred. Unit has 16 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. The unit is staffed with tech support. Equipment includes Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, telemetry, bladder scanner, and Doppler. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requires 3 shifts per week and 3-4 weekend shifts. Agency and contract staff may float to areas where they have demonstrated competency. Advanced skills needed include cardiac drips and basic dysrhythmia. No specific procedures are performed on the unit. High employee engagement.
