East Cooper Montessori Charter School (ECMCS) of Mount Pleasant, SC is looking to hire an Afterschool Teacher . This position is an at-will part-time hourly position daily from 2:30-5:30 with the opportunity for growth over time. The position will also be available on teacher workdays and half days for staff childcare. The position will support working families to provide an enriching and safe environment for children beyond the school day. Students need time in the afternoon to play, create, explore and reflect and our school provides the space and caring faculty to do just that! ABOUT EAST COOPER MONTESSORI CHARTER SCHOOL (ECMCS)

Established in 2003, we are a premier public Montessori school that serves 450 students from 3 years old through 8th grade. We value people and invest in them. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN Afterschool Teacher

• Experience in teaching or managing students
• True passion for growing students' abilities

Experience with both elementary and middle school students is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Are you skilled in interpersonal relations with students, parents, teachers, staff, and the general public? Do you have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal? Do you love the art of education and instructional design? Are you team-oriented? Are you compassionate and caring while able to maintain professional boundaries? If so, you might just be perfect for the afterschool teacher position!

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a part-time position. Hours are 2:30-5:00.
