Carmel, Indiana | Updated on September 1, 2026 IT Systems Support Specialist About the Role Wessler Engineering is looking for a part-time IT Systems Support Specialist to help keep our people, technology, and offices running smoothly. This is a hands-on opportunity to support both firm-wide technology projects and day-to-day end-user needs while working closely with IT leadership. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in everything from Microsoft Intune deployments and workstation refreshes to infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, and hands-on technical support across our offices. If you enjoy solving problems, working with technology, and helping people get the most out of their tools, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Do Support technology projects including Intune deployments, workstation refreshes, infrastructure upgrades, network equipment replacements, and office technology improvements . Provide Tier 1 technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, conference room technology, and other equipment. Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, and AEC applications such as Autodesk and GIS tools. Assist with device management, access management, cybersecurity, and compliance initiatives using tools such as Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft Defender . Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating more complex problems when needed. Support technology deployments and upgrades at Wessler office locations, including occasional travel between offices. Create and maintain technical documentation and assist with user training. Coordinate with employees, IT staff, vendors, and contractors to ensure technology projects and support requests are completed effectively. What You Bring Experience providing technical support in a professional environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows, device management, and common business applications . Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to work independently and travel between office locations as needed. The Details This is a temporary, part-time position expected to last approximately six months , with the potential for the schedule to vary based on project and business needs. The anticipated schedule is 16-24 hours per week, typically 2-3 days per week. This position is fully in-office. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
