As a key member of the Supply Chain & Sourcing Team you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. Job Title: Technical Buyer Reports To: Sr. Manager, Production Control Location: Austin, Texas Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: EnovisSurgical is looking for a Buyer/Planner that will be responsible for the ongoing procurement and negotiations of materials, components, equipment, supplies and services that meet the quality standards of the company. Someone who will assume full responsibility for planning requirements and supply chain management to ensure timely (scheduled) deliveries of goods and services within budget and/or standard costs. They must be prepared to rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Procurement AssistSourcingTeam in developing andexecutepurchasing strategies for raw materials, components, and services used in reconstructive hip, knee, and shoulder implants Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory Supplier Management Identify suppliers aligned with Enovis' innovation and compliance standards Along with the Sourcing Team,managesupplier relationships to ensure reliability and cost-efficiency Compliance & Quality Ensure all procurement activities comply with FDA regulations and internal/external regulatory requirements Monitor supplier performance and assist Quality in conducting audits as needed Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations, R&D, Sourcing and finance teams to support product development and launch timelines Reporting & Analytics Develop and track KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics Use ERP systems to maintain accurate purchasing records and generate reports Minimum Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field 5years of purchasing experience in medical device manufacturing or high-tech industries Strong knowledge of FDA, ISO, and healthcare compliance standards Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skill Travel Requirements: Up to 25% Desired Characteristics: CPSM or CPM certification Familiarity with orthopedic implant materials (e.g., titanium, cobalt-chrome alloys) Passion for innovation and continuous improvement Currently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future.
