Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of DevOps principles, experience with cloud platforms, and a desire to grow their skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with various teams to support the development, deployment, and operations of our software applications. The salary range for this role is $135 - 170k/yr Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent hands-on experience Thorough understanding of DevOps practices and tools. Deep understanding of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes). Working knowledge of CI/CD frameworks (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Fundamental knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python). Good understanding of Linux/Unix system administration. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Experience working with agility in a high-velocity environment Strong communication skills: verbal and written Passionate about working on an early-stage venture Responsibilities Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines. Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring high availability and performance. Collaborate with development teams to automate and improve development and release processes. Help maintain and improve configuration management practices. Participate in the development and implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform Support the team in managing version control systems (e.g. Git). Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. Ensure system security through monitoring, patch management, and implementation of best practices.
