As a member of the Filevine legal team, you will have the opportunity to participate in projects in the following areas: corporate matters, commercial contracting, compliance, dispute resolution, data privacy, employment law, immigration, intellectual property law and more.What You'll Do:Review, draft and revise standard contractual termsDraft and edit correspondence relating to legal mattersReview and process invoices from outside legal vendorsMaintain department calendar and track department deadlinesCoordinate with in-house teams and outside counsel on a variety of legal issuesGather information, including attending meetings in the place of attorneys to aid in the fact-gathering and investigation of mattersConduct legal research on a variety of matters, as requiredManage corporate compliance program including completing filings with state and city governmentsTrack and report on metrics for the Legal DepartmentDesign and implement processes for the Legal Department as neededWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's degreeExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Keen attention to detailStrong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize assignmentsAbility to work independently and show initiativePrior experience in an in-house legal department or reputable law firm is strongly preferredParalegal certification is a plusContract management experience not required but a "nice to have"Filevine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
