Ambulatory Clinic Nurse (RN) – PRN Work locations: Drive Medical Pavilion, Louisburg Medical Pavilion, Osawatomie Medical Pavilion. Job Summary : The registered nurse utilizes the nursing process to coordinate an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, promoting and restoring patient health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Responsibilities Consistently meet work schedule. Demonstrate critical thinking utilizing all aspects of the nursing process. Maintain a safe environment for patients. Coordinate health care services with hospital, vendors, physician's offices and other institutions. Answer patient and significant others' phone calls, evaluate patient needs, and triage patient care. Provide patient/family education using available resources. Act as liaison between patient, significant others and health team members. Identify areas for professional growth. Participate fully as a member of the Patient Centered Medical Home Team. Perform professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department. Education and Experience Associate Degree in Nursing. Preferred: 1 or more years of previous healthcare experience. Licensure and Certification Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) – single or multi‑state upon hire.
