Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to design, build, and deploy high-performance electromechanical systems that directly support production. You will own mechanism design, electrical integration, automation build-out, and factory commissioning of robotic systems and automation cells. The expectation is deep technical competence, strong engineering judgement, and ability to independently drive complex systems from concept through production validation.What You’ll DoDevelop end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) for pick-and-place applicationsDevelop payloads for autonomous mobile robotsDevelop industrial electrical systems and control panelsOwn the design and release of electromechanical systemsSelect and integrate motion components such as actuators, pneumatics, bearings, etc.Perform system validation, troubleshooting, and structured root cause analysisLead hands-on installation, commissioning, and validation of systems on the factory floor, including travel to support multi-site deploymentsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or computer scienceStrong design intuition grounded in first-principles engineering judgmentDeep mechanical fundamentals including statics, dynamics, materials, tolerance analysisSolid electrical fundamentals including power, signal integrity, industrial safetyProven experience in electromechanical integration of complex industrial systemsAdvanced skills in mechanism design and kinematics for high-uptime automationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWhat Will Set You ApartOwnership of DFM and DFA for precision electromechanical systems across suppliers and production processesOwnership of system-level integration and validation in industrial environmentsWorking knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing-grade standardsFamiliarity integrating industrial robots (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, etc.) into automation cellsFamiliarity with PLC-based controls (Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, etc.)Comfort with basic scripting to support automation, diagnostics, or system integration (Python, structured text, etc.)CompensationFor this role, the target salary range is $138,500- $240,000(actual range may vary based on experience).This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
