HVAC Systems Sales Specialist

We are seeking a Sales Engineer for an expanding mechanical contractor serving the Cincinnati, Ohio area. This role is located in Cincinnati and covers the Southwest Ohio region, so applicants must reside nearby or be willing to relocate. Assistance may be available for the right candidate.This position focuses on marketing and selling industrial cooling systems and refrigeration projects to industrial and manufacturing customers.We welcome applicants with experience in industrial cooling or industrial air conditioning systems.The role is based within a design-build mechanical contractor setting, collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams to aid project development and implementation.Our company has established a solid reputation in the area and prides itself on a team-oriented, family-like work environment.Duties• Establish new business relationships with manufacturing and industrial facilities• Develop connections with plant managers, engineering executives, and operations staff• Identify opportunities involving industrial cooling systems and related mechanical technologies• Create estimates, proposals, and project budgets• Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to facilitate project implementation• Sustain and expand relationships with current clients• Manage a pipeline of cooling project prospectsQualifications• Minimum of 5 years working with industrial cooling systems OR industrial air conditioning systems• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in mechanical, cooling, or air conditioning systems• Background with a design-build mechanical contractor or industrial service provider• Ability to generate project estimates, proposals, and quotations• Experience in developing new business and maintaining existing customer connections• Desirable knowledge of Ammonia cooling systems, but not mandatory• Beneficial understanding of CO₂ cooling systems• Strong communication and relationship-building abilitiesImportant: This position requires sales experience in cooling or air conditioning mechanical systems.
