Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is hiring for Senior Manufacturing Engineers to join the Production Engineering organization in North Charleston, SC.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
• Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs while maintaining the program architecture for build.
• Lead and implement manufacturing plans.
• Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability aligns with requirements
• Assist in providing producibility information for project plans and document best practices.
• Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
• Resolve technical problems that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule.
• Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.
• Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
• Implement lean principles and technologies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience related to the development, selection, and/or revision of parts, materials, and process specifications for production testing, electrical subsystems, aircraft interiors, and other aircraft systems.
• Experience in planning and production control processes?
• Experience with 787 structures and/or systems?

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Senior Level (Level 4): $126,650 – 171,350
