Job Title
Duties
You will process and certify munitions in accordance with DoD Instruction 4140.62, "Material Potentially Presenting an Explosive Hazard".
You will ensure that all inert munitions are inspected for live rounds, un-fired blanks, and other components necessary for safe handling.
You will sign certification documents of range residue and Material Potentially Possessing Explosive Hazards (MPPEH) for disposal and recycling.
You will independently operate, inspect, and maintain the MCB Hawaii Recycling Center OD 5000 ordnance deformer and maintain employee safety during the deforming process.
You will perform recycling materials handling and operate motor vehicles to transport recyclable material and supplies.
You will conduct monthly inventory of all material storage lockers to ensure regulatory compliance.
