Job Description Interpret blueprints and collaborate with the Lead person to confirm job requirements Gather necessary materials and perform layout work according to specifications Set up welding machines and adjust settings for various applications Weld steel, aluminum, copper, and other materials in multiple positions and joint configurations Inspect welds for quality, repairing defective joints as needed Operate cutting torches and manual plasma cutters when required Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area by performing regular housekeeping duties Skills Required At least 2 years of welding experience Able to read tape measures and blueprints Ability to properly operate welding equipment Must be trained in applicable SOPs and work instructions Skilled in utilizing cutting torches, brushes, pads, buffers, grinders, overhead cranes, and rubber hammers Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands Standing /Walking for extended periods of time, Lift to 50lbs. Education/Training/Certifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Additional Requirements Must be able to pass criminal background check Work in a non-temperature controlled environment Wear the required PPE for the given position Shift Hours: Day Shift, Mon to Thur, 6:00am - 4:30pm Pay Rate/Salary $23.00-$25.00/ hr.
