Assistant Manager Position

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at PLAYA BOWLS DURHAM! As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and experiences. You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the staff, manage inventory, and maintain a clean, safe, welcoming and upbeat environment. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our guests have an amazing experience. If you excel at this position we look to promote from within and we will need another general manager in the near future.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Knowledge of local attractions and events
• Experience with staff training and development

Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the establishment
• Ensure that guests receive exceptional service and experiences
• Manage inventory and ordering supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming and upbeat environment for guests and staff
• Train and supervise staff to ensure that they are providing excellent service

Skills:

As an Assistant Manager, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff on a daily basis. Your strong organizational and time management skills will be essential in managing inventory and ensuring that the establishment is clean and safe. You will also use your leadership skills to train and supervise staff to provide excellent service. Additionally, your knowledge of local attractions and events will be beneficial in providing recommendations to guests. Overall, your skills will be crucial in ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
