THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment across our manufacturing plant. - Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to minimize downtime and support continuous plant operations
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors, control systems, instrumentation, and plant electrical infrastructure
- Install, test, and maintain wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with codes, standards, and specifications
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and implement improvements that enhance equipment reliability
- Support a strong safety culture by following all electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance requirements
- Your work directly supports safe, efficient manufacturing that impacts water, air, and environmental quality
- You'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of industrial electrical systems and technologies
- You'll be part of a collaborative, safety-first team that values craftsmanship and accountability
- This role provides strong foundational experience for growth into advanced maintenance or electrical roles
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training in electrical systems preferred
- 1-3 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience (or relevant apprenticeship experience)
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment, including varying shifts if needed
- Experience with PLCs or automated control systems
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation or process controls
- Electrical license or progress toward certification
