Kentucky River Medical Center 540 Jetts Drive Jackson, KY 41339, USA Kentucky River Medical Center 540 Jetts Drive Jackson, KY 41339, USA Radiology Tech New Pay Scale - Modality and Experience Credits Available Position Details: Full-Time Position Evening & Weekends or Night Shift Schedules available Job Summary: Arranges patients for radiological examinations Produces radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited program required; bachelor's degree preferred Registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. required Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Experience preferred Competitive salary and benefits package.
